My essay in human growth during lifespan
Let's talking about my essay in human growth during lifespan.
Each of them gradually merges into the next stage. However, there is no unanimous agreement to determine how many and what those stages are. Nor can it be said when exactly each stage begins and when it ends, as various individual, social and cultural factors influence development. That is why it is said that each human being has its own rhythm of development. In general, it is considered that the stages of human development are the following: 1. Ancianity The pre-natal stage develops in the mother's womb, from the conception of the new being until birth. It passes through three periods: • Zygotic period: It begins at the moment of conception, when the sperm fertilizes the egg and forms the egg or zygote. This then begins to divide and subdivide into cells and increases in size to form the embryo, which at the end of the second week is rooted in the uterus. The fetus already has the definite form of a human being, which after developing rapidly for 7 months, leaves the maternal ward in the act of birth. Childhood It is the stage between birth and six or seven years. Also in this period the game and the fantasy predominate, reason why the infant likes stories, fables and legends. Through his exalted fantasy he gives life to objects and creates a special psychological world. Childhood It is between 6 and 12 years old. Corresponds to the child's income to school, an event that means living with beings of the same age. It is also called "period of latency", because it is characterized by a kind of repose of institutional impulses to concentrate on the conquest of sociality. Adolescence It is the stage in which the individual stops being a child, but without having reached the maturity of the adult. However, it is a complicated and difficult traffic that normally must be overcome to reach adulthood. It is considered that adolescence begins at approximately 12 years old, in women and at 13 years in men. This is the moment in which the period of puberty appears, which changes the individual with respect to what until then was his childhood. The youth It is the stage comprised approximately of the 18 to the 25 years. It is the stage in which the individual is calmer with respect to what was his adolescence, although he has not yet reached the balance of adulthood. The young person is able to guide his life and to reach the progressive integration of all aspects of his personality. The adulthood It is the stage between the 25 to the 60 years approximately, although as it is known, its beginning and its term depend on many personal and environmental factors. In this stage of life the individual normally reaches the fullness of his biological and psychic development. His personality and character are relatively firm and safe, with all the individual differences that can occur in reality. Old age The final stage of life, also known as the third age, begins at approximately 60 years of age. It is characterized by a growing decrease in physical forces, which, in turn, causes in most a sensitive and progressive decline in the qualities of their mental activity. Prenatal age can not be established exactly because no one has been able to discover the exact moment of fertilization. Usually doctors indicate the date of a pregnancy according to the last menstrual period or two weeks after that period.
To assume my life project is to be clear that I must transcend my goals, my ideals, to live and be happy, giving meaning to life. Conceiving my life project means the possibility of living life in a deliberate and full way. Positive attitudes are the motor that permanently impel me to act and make me see life in a different way. Making sense of life implies our personal growth and integral formation, making myself more and more responsible to be the conscious owner of my achievements and my destiny. Life is something more than the achievement of fame and money. Man feels called to be useful to life; he feels useful to love and experiences joy. Happiness and love are the strength of the being of the heart of every human being. The key to life is to know and transcend in search of ideals. One of the potentialities of the human being is self-confidence, which allows me to develop my qualities. It is necessary to discover the meaning, the vocation that we as human beings have; This is the way to do more every day. The reference of the future implies an open mentality so that each man can know the situations in which he finds himself and know how to face them and react appropriately to them. Man is worth more for what he is than for what he has. The man of today is more aware that the universe and history are subject to a process of growth. The construction of the world is in the hands of every man. When we take advantage of different life opportunities to serve others. Human life is carried out in its human sense, because it has managed to internalize the ethical values and moral principles in its life and in the relationship it establishes with its peers. Therefore human life makes sense if it is achieved that we live values. The meaning of life depends on how I form, choose or practice a number of values. Human life, more than a value, is the norm and the end of all value. Taking into account that value is everything that perfects us, that makes us more people. Self-love should lead me not to despise myself, to respect myself and not to demoralize me. When I lose my sense of self, it is because I have stopped valuing myself and immediately I enter a stage of demoralization and dehumanization and my ideals of the life project collapses. In order for my life project to have a great end, I must set goals for the short, medium and long term. They are the most important because they give direction to my life. The short and medium term goals will allow me to carry out the long-term goals I have. I must be full of joy, confidence and enthusiasm, since they are necessary qualities to improve my living conditions. In conclusion the aim to which I aspire, also implies a quota of sacrifice, of will and of disposition of mind. Making a life project is more than writing it down in a notebook: it is a commitment that I acquire with myself. I must do the same with my life project, plan well my goals and I will achieve it. The basis of success lies in determining the objective. February'04 - June'04 300 hours. We have already seen how the baby grows in the womb, and today we focus on growth after the birth of the baby until puberty. Hormones are performers of the genetic program and play a fundamental role in the growth and physical development, especially through its action on the bone and cartilaginous tissue. The role of different hormones on growth is different depending on whether it is prenatal or postnatal growth. As we have seen, insulin preferentially influences prenatal growth, somatomedins, placental lactogen and numerous local growth factors. On the other hand, postnatal growth is mainly regulated by growth hormone, somatomedins and thyroid hormones, with the addition of parathyroid hormone and vitamin D in skeletal development. Sex steroids they have special importance in the puberal growth. The speed of development and the maturational advance of the child do not follow uniformly, but the three periods that we analyze below can be differentiated. It comprises the first two years of life, being the rapid growth. The mechanism of paracrine-autocrine regulation of the fetal period is replaced by endocrine regulation, in which the pituitary growth hormone becomes a prominent role after six months of the baby. The growth pattern, which was conditioned by the maternal phenotype, is located in the corresponding channel conditioned by the genetic factor. There is an increase in body fat and modification of the body proportions with progressive increase of the lower segment, due to the rapid growth of the limbs. It is a maturing period in which the child makes important advances in the acquisition of psychomotor functions, while their digestive and metabolic functions reach a sufficient degree of maturity to approximate their feeding to that of the older child. It includes from three or four years of the child until the beginning of the pubertal growth spurt. It is a period of slow and uniform growth. Before the onset of puberty, a small deceleration of linear growth is observed. In the preschool stage, the growth rate is lower than in the first year of life. During the school period, growth and weight gain are slow but uniform. It is a stage of preparation for the development and growth characteristic of adolescence that will ensue later. During preschool and school age there is a decrease in the rate of growth in relation to development during the first year of life and adolescence. As for size, it increases at a rate of five to eight centimeters per year until the onset of puberty. Childhood, which is the stage between birth and six or seven years, ends in this period. We then enter childhood, from six or seven years to 12, which is when the next stage of puberty begins. The last important stage of growth is puberty. Puberty is characterized by important somatic and emotional changes that coincide with the process of sexual maturation. It is qualified by a readjustment of the endocrine balance that ends with the appearance of the menstrual cycles in the girl and the spermatogenesis in the male, and that implies: Acceleration of the growth until reaching the adult height. Appearance of secondary sexual characteristics. Growth and maturation of the gonads and genital tract. Psychosocial changes that lead to the acquisition of the personality, psychological and emotional balance of the adult. During pubertal development the maximum growth rate can reach up to 12 cm year in men and 9 cm year in women. We have made a journey through the stages of the growth of the baby until puberty, going through childhood and childhood and seeing its basic characteristics. After these stages, the organism evidently continues to evolve, but it is already outside our thematic scope.
